{"id":1508,"date":"2014-04-07T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2014-04-07T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hamptonschatter.net\/chatter\/2014\/04\/07\/spring-clean-up-time-and-are-you-dirty\/"},"modified":"2017-02-22T03:38:09","modified_gmt":"2017-02-22T03:38:09","slug":"spring-clean-up-time-and-are-you-dirty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hamptonschatter.net\/chatter\/spring-clean-up-time-and-are-you-dirty\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring Clean Up Time&#8230;. and are you Dirty Dining??!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Spring has sprung, the grass has riz&#8217;. \u00a0I wonder where the birdie is? \u00a0 The little bird it&#8217;s on the wing. \u00a0No that&#8217;s absurd the little wing is on the bird&#8221; \u00a0&#8211; Curly Howard<\/p>\n<p>Yes, spring is beginning to poke its head in the Hamptons. \u00a0 That of course means time to get your \u00a0house and home ready for the avalanche of new friends and guests that seem to appear about the same time as the tulips and daffodils bloom! \u00a0 \u00a0 But as we all know, those bulbs and flowers don&#8217;t bloom themselves. \u00a0 A beautiful garden takes prep! \u00a0It also requires a spring clean up and recently I discussed this very topic with the talented and affable Frederico Azevedo from Unlimited Earth Care in Bridgehampton. \u00a0 \u00a0 Here are some of his basic suggestions to make sure you have a house beautiful!<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/e_8IYIz3Ojo?rel=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Speaking of seasonal clean ups, there are a few food establishments on the East End that need to get their acts together. \u00a0 In case you missed the headlines, there has been quite a stir in the city lately with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/life-style\/eats\/cronut-maker-slapped-city-article-1.1746093\" target=\"_blank\">the home of the &#8220;cronut&#8221; Dominique Ansel bakery.<\/a>.. (I&#8217;ll have cronut hold the Mickey please)&#8230;. and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/food\/dailydish\/la-dd-per-se-health-code-violations-overturned-by-judge-20140404,0,2009155.story#axzz2y9yZHP10\" target=\"_blank\">Per Se having lots of drama <\/a>with health inspectors. \u00a0 \u00a0So that got me thinking (yes occasionally that happens), \u00a0&#8220;Self, \u00a0are the restaurants in the Hamptons clean?&#8221;<\/p>\n<table cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hamptonschatter.net\/chatter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/RestaurantReportCard_689x387_gYQtU.jpg?resize=320%2C179\" width=\"320\" height=\"179\" border=\"0\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This is a better image then seeing a mouse in a kitchen, right?<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>While it would be great to see those grades on windows like they have in the city, no such thing exists in Suffolk County.
