{"id":1526,"date":"2013-10-02T16:39:00","date_gmt":"2013-10-02T16:39:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hamptonschatter.net\/chatter\/2013\/10\/02\/the-evil-that-is-pumpkin-townthe\/"},"modified":"2017-02-13T22:41:18","modified_gmt":"2017-02-13T22:41:18","slug":"the-evil-that-is-pumpkin-townthe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hamptonschatter.net\/chatter\/the-evil-that-is-pumpkin-townthe\/","title":{"rendered":"The Evil that is Pumpkin Town&#8230;.the Benefits of Solar Power&#8230;. and This &#8220;Cidiot&#8221; Wants His Money Back!!!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hamptonschatter.net\/chatter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/photo-1.jpg?resize=150%2C200\" width=\"150\" height=\"200\" border=\"0\" \/>It&#8217;s that time of year again&#8230; the crowds are gone, the water is warm and the parents of young ones are being tortured into stopping by Pumpkin Town on Rt. 27! \u00a0 \u00a0Yes, the venerable Water Mill attraction is back for another season of traffic jams, expensive cider and even more expensive pumpkins. \u00a0 Now, I&#8217;ve got to be honest I&#8217;ve never gone to Pumpkin Town. \u00a0 All of the information I&#8217;m conveying is second hand, so I don&#8217;t know if the rumors of that big new red barn are true. \u00a0 I&#8217;ve heard many theories about the red barn ranging from they&#8217;re selling Halloween masks that are electronically turning children \u00a0into zombies&#8230; a la Halloween 3: Season of the Witch&#8230; to an overpriced food court. \u00a0 I&#8217;m guessing both are pretty strong possibilities! \u00a0 \u00a0 So there is my warning to the unsuspecting parent. \u00a0 Luckily for everyone, it&#8217;s only for another 30 days.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, it seems more and more home owners are weighing the option of adding solar power to help fill their power needs. \u00a0 \u00a0Recently I gathered some &#8220;solar experts&#8221; to discuss the benefits, costs and benefits of upgrading a home with this green technology. \u00a0 \u00a0It&#8217;s just a basic overview but it&#8217;s full of tidbits that I think make a great introduction to solar power.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/19vN-evez0Y?list=UU2NSqj4YkXYnc-H_DpkuikA\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/hamptonschatter.net\/chatter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/photo-2.jpg?resize=320%2C240\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" border=\"0\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Finally&#8230; I&#8217;m getting tired of these &#8220;Cidiots Go Home&#8221; postings.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I find it offensive!!! \u00a0 My main complaint is the penmanship \u00a0is horrible! \u00a0You would think that all of the tax money these &#8220;cidiots&#8221; pay that the local schools would teach their students how to write! \u00a0Hello, haven&#8217;t they heard of the Palmer Method?
